Auggie, our AI engine, continues to prove that he’s built for big challenges. After mastering the art of defect coding with Electrolux, he moved on to Speed Queen, a manufacturer that takes things up a notch by requiring both a defect code and a repair code on every warranty claim.

 

That meant Auggie had to understand not only what went wrong with the appliance but also what the technician did to fix it. And he delivered. Auggie quickly adapted to Speed Queen’s dual-code system, interpreting customer complaints, technician notes, and service details with remarkable precision. His accuracy rate continues to raise the bar for automated warranty claim processing.

 

Now, Auggie is taking on a new challenge, LG. While LG also uses defect and repair codes, the codes are entirely different, and they relate to the appliance type. Now Auggie must first learn what is the appliance and how does it work. Instead of relying on predictable patterns already learnt, Auggie must learn new patterns to determine the correct codes, a more complex and context-driven process by appliance.

 

To make things even more interesting, LG operates through two separate claim portals: ServicePower and LG’s own internal portal (GSFS). Auggie will now need to determine which claims processing platform each claim belongs to based upon the individual authorized service provider, adding yet another layer of intelligence to his decision-making.
