Auggie's Making Great Progress

Auggie, the AI-powered assistant developed by JustPressOne, has been significantly enhancing the claims processing capabilities of ClaimWorks. Recently he began working directly with the Whirlpool Corporation warranty team in an effort to improve service performed information on claims to accurately pinpoint product failure data. Collectively they are also exploring various solutions to automatically failure code claims while decreasing escalations.

 

Auggie also started working on the first TPA, Assurant on product failure claims coding. This will be his first learning experience that will eventually lead to him being able to automatically code claims for other brands including BSH, LG, Samsung among many others.

 

In general, Auggie performs a range of tasks to streamline the claims process. These include validating technician IDs, checking purchase dates using entitlement tools, verifying S-codes, searching for case numbers, correcting parts shipped at no charge, removing customer confidential information, closing dispatches via API, and ensuring that repeat repairs on the same serial number are spaced more than 90 days apart.

 

Looking ahead, the JustPressOne technology team will be working closely with Auggie to expand his capabilities by integrating advanced Language Processing Algorithms into the ClaimWorks platform. This integration will rapidly increase his ability to pre-audit service performed data to continue improving the accuracy and efficiency of warranty claims processing. ​
